About us

At NeerKlar, we are driven by a singular mission: to safeguard communities from the pervasive threat of chemical pollutants. As a non-profit organization, we specialize in assessing the prevalence of various chemical pollutants in the environment, with a particular focus on underserved low-income communities residing in regions with limited resources where such studies are often deemed unfeasible.

Our journey begins with comprehensive assessments to determine the extent of chemical pollutants present in these communities' surroundings. Through meticulous research and analysis, we map out the pathways through which these chemicals enter the human body, discerning their impact on the health and well-being of each unique community.

Armed with this crucial knowledge, we are committed to providing concrete recommendations aimed at removing these exposure routes and mitigating the risks associated with chemical pollutants. By empowering communities with actionable insights and targeted educational initiatives, we strive to reduce their exposure to harmful chemicals, fostering healthier environments and brighter futures for all. Join us in our mission to create lasting change and protect communities from the detrimental effects of chemical pollution. Together, we can build a safer, healthier world for generations to come.

How it works?

We leverage in vitro cell bioassays paired with human exposure data to implement a streamlined, rapid, and cost-effective method for characterizing the effects of chemicals. We then correlate these findings with community health data. Through a combination of experimental analysis and sophisticated modeling techniques, we evaluate the impact of various chemicals on the human body.
